Game Review!

Hey everyone for my first review I'm going to be talking about, Payday: The Heist!

A fully cooperative action game in which the player takes control of one out of four robbers simply known as: Hoxton, Chains, Wolf and Dallas. Play online or with bots and your in for a payday!

With six different heists to choose from ranging from a bank job to a panic room robbery (that being the whole room!) and each play through never being the same your sure to have a unique experience every time you play.

Bearing very close resemblance to Valves title Left 4 Dead in terms of mechanics and game style it is definitely unique, the visuals are nice and the guns are so great to look at you'd wish you were holding them yourself.

And that's just the visuals the music is even better, each heist has a track starting off light then gets better when the action begins!

The gameplay is well done the heists well executed but how do the enemies hold up? just fine as it turns out, being robbers your naturally going to be pitted against cops at first but as the word spreads and heat turns up the police start sending tougher law enforcers at you such as blue swat, heavy swat, FBI and the dreaded special units among them.
These special units are in order from left to right:

the Shield, the Cloaker, the Bulldozer and the Tazer each with a little something making them a large threat if separated from the group but as tough as they are you have to admit they are pretty cool, there is also the common Assault strategy the police use were a large number of law enforcers converge on you and your team keeping players on their toes and in action after theyv'e had a little break to gear up of course.

In addition to online and offline play there is also a pretty diverse upgrade tree with three roles to choose from and a max reputation level of 145, those roles being: Assault, Sharpshooter and Support with their own weapons, crew bonuses and equipment to unlock your sure to fine the right role for you!
But like most games its not all sunshine and money bundles this game has its fair share of flaws too a few being the Cloakers cuff range, if you've been playing it aslong as I have you'll know its a little unbalanced especially when your suddenly put in handcuffs on a fire escape a floor above a Cloaker outside of its range, but its biggest issue has to be the ally bots intelligence I have failed so many heists due to being on the ground for thirty seconds while my allies are just sitting next to me doing nothing.

The call out ability was a nice addition too but may need fixing, whenever being tazed i can still call out tazers and my allies will not shoot at them or help me which gets infuriating after a while

But with that this game review is done with the final verdict being that this game is great and at its current price of £20 it is a steal so grab your guns, put your mask on and grab that loot!
